HDST-CAFB ’Firefly’ 12-String
The Hudson HDST-CAFB ’Firefly’
is designed for the performing musician and without a doubt one of
our staff favourites. The solid close-grain Cedar top gives this slim
electro-acoustic an amazingly tight and balanced tone. The Hudson
Firefly has a figured Rosewood fingerboard edge-bound in Flame Maple
with abalone dot position markers and an African Flame Mahogany back
and sides, again beautifully complemented by Flame Maple
edge-binding. Hudson have also extended the use of Flame Mahogany on
the face of the headstock for a uniform aesthetic from top to bottom.
A bone top nut and saddle complete the highest quality construction
and reinforce the reliability and next-level tonal quality of the
instrument. The Super-Folk body shape is designed to offer both
balance and depth of tone for reliability and volume whether the
player is strumming playing finger style. The ’Firefly’ is fitted
with the a B-Band A3T preamp which accurately captures the
instruments clarity and depth of sound.
